Coach beta · Autumn 2026

Surf coaching software for serious performance.

Elevate is a surf coaching platform for video analysis, athlete feedback and progression tracking. It turns the footage coaches already capture into structured performance intelligence — wave by wave, manoeuvre by manoeuvre, session after session.

Surf video analysis workflow

From surf footage to better coaching in three steps.

Elevate is built around the way surf coaches already review performance. The technology handles organisation; the coach stays in control of interpretation, technical feedback and what the athlete sees.

1

Capture the surf session.

Bring in ordinary surf footage from training, competition or a wave pool. Elevate organises the session into waves and reviewable moments.

2

Review waves and manoeuvres.

Move quickly by wave, manoeuvre or pattern. Add the technical cue and performance context only a coach can provide.

3

Track surfing progression.

Each review builds the athlete’s performance picture so recurring patterns, coaching priorities and meaningful changes become easier to see over time.

Surf coaching platform

Less admin. More seeing.

Elevate connects surf video analysis, technical review, athlete feedback and long-term progression in one coaching workflow — without asking coaches to become data analysts.

The world’s best athletes don’t need more video.
They need better coaching.
Built for serious surf coaching environments

One surf performance platform. Different coaching environments.

Elevate is designed for professional surf coaches and organisations that need more than a video library: a repeatable way to review sessions, communicate feedback and follow athlete development across time.

01

Surf coaches

Review sessions faster, communicate clearly and build a longitudinal performance view for every competitive surfer you coach.

02

Surf academies

Give coaching teams a shared video-analysis workflow while preserving each coach’s judgement, language and methodology.

03

Federations & high performance

Connect surf athlete development, session review and performance evidence across squads, programmes and seasons.

Built for coaching, not content consumption

A surf app for coaches who need to understand performance.

Most surf apps help surfers check conditions, log sessions or consume coaching content. Elevate focuses on the coach’s workflow: surf video review, manoeuvre analysis, athlete feedback, recurring patterns and progression across sessions.

Surf video analysis

Review real session footage by wave and manoeuvre, with the coaching context attached to the moments that matter.

Surf performance analysis

Turn individual sessions into a longer-term performance picture rather than treating every video review as a one-off.

Coach-led AI

Use technology to organise the work and surface patterns while keeping technical judgement, feedback and athlete decisions with the coach.

Athlete progression tracking

Keep coaching priorities and evidence connected across training blocks, camps and competition seasons.

Founding Coaches

Help shape the next generation of surf coaching technology.

We’re inviting a very small group of experienced coaches working with competitive surfers to become Elevate Founding Coaches. This is not a public beta list. It’s a working group of coaches who will use the platform in real sessions, challenge our assumptions and influence what we build next.

Limited founding group

Built with coaches, not just for them.

Founding Coaches get closer access to the product, the team and each other — with opportunities to shape the roadmap as Elevate develops.

Apply to become a Founding Coach
01

Influence the roadmap

Help decide which workflows, features and performance problems deserve attention first through direct product feedback and structured sessions with the Elevate team.

02

Early access to new features

Use beta capabilities before general release and help pressure-test them with real athletes, real footage and real coaching environments.

03

Extended free access

Receive an extended period of free platform access during the founding phase, followed by exclusive Founding Coach offers as Elevate moves into commercial release.

04

Elite coach network

Join a deliberately small group of high-level coaches, with private networking opportunities, peer exchange and selected online or in-person events.

05

Direct access to the team

Work directly with Elevate’s product, engineering and sport-science team rather than feeding ideas into a generic support queue.

06

Founding Coach recognition

Be formally recognised as an Elevate Founding Coach and, where mutually agreed, feature in selected launch, research and community initiatives.

Founding Coach participation will include a clear set of practical beta commitments so feedback is based on genuine field use. Full participation terms are shared only with coaches invited to the next stage.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Elevate Surf Coaching Intelligence Platform?

What is Elevate?

Elevate Performance Intelligence is surf coaching software for professional coaches, academies, federations and high-performance environments. It brings surf video analysis, coach feedback and athlete progression tracking into one structured workflow.

How is Elevate different from a typical surf app?

Elevate is not primarily a surf forecast, session log or library of instructional content. It is a coach-led performance platform designed to help coaches review real surfing, organise feedback and build a useful record of how an athlete develops over time.

How does surf video analysis work in Elevate?

Coaches bring in footage from a surf session and review it as waves, manoeuvres and key moments. Elevate helps organise the review so the coach can focus on technical interpretation, add the cue that matters and connect that feedback to the athlete’s wider development.

Does Elevate replace the surf coach with AI?

No. Elevate is being designed around coach judgement. AI and automation can reduce repetitive work and help organise footage or identify patterns, but the coach remains responsible for interpreting performance, deciding what matters and communicating with the athlete.

Who is Elevate built for?

Elevate is initially focused on elite and competitive surf coaching: independent performance coaches, surf academies, high-performance centres and national or regional surfing programmes.

When is the Elevate surf coaching app available?

The first coach beta is planned for autumn 2026 with a small group of Elevate Founding Coaches. Other coaches and performance organisations can also register interest for later access.

Who are the Elevate Founding Coaches?

Founding Coaches are a deliberately small group of experienced coaches working with competitive surfers who use Elevate in real coaching environments and help shape the platform through structured feedback. The group is designed to bring together different coaching perspectives while keeping the relationship close enough for direct product collaboration.

How do I become an Elevate Founding Coach?

Elite and high-performance surf coaches can apply through the Founding Coach application. We look at coaching experience, the athletes and environments you work with, how you currently use video and performance analysis, and whether you can actively test Elevate during the beta. Applying does not automatically guarantee a place — we are intentionally keeping the first group small.
